Every January, Pasadena, CA observes Pasadena Cheeseburger Week in honor of Lionel Sternberger who created the cheeseburger at his Dad’s restaurant on Colorado Blvd, The Rite Spot. The story goes that he accidentally burnt a hamburger patty and decided to cover it up with a piece of cheese.
2024 marks the 100th Anniversary of the Aristocratic Burger being added to the menu, and we are celebrating this momentous occasion with our newest IBEW 11 lapel pin.
